I installed windows 7 on my laptop Toshiba P205-S6237, which has intel 945 motherboard chipset. After installing windows 7, it prompted me for 5 important updates including Intel 945 Graphic Media Accelerator. It asked me to restart my computer. After restart, my screen went blank. No cursor, anything, only black screen. I later found out that it was the problem caused by conflicting video controller drivers. So, I reinstalled windows 7 and somehow managed not to install Intel driver.

Now the real problem started after windows installed two display adapters drivers. One for video controller and other for video controller (VGA Compatible). The drivers are 'Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family (sometimes with or without Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.0). I checked the update list and Intel driver was still unchecked.

I tried to uninstall those drivers in safe mode but to no avail. When I start my computer, I either get blank screen or screen without any hardware acceleration.
